Methods of Payment

We are able to accept payment by debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro (Switch), Solo, Visa Electron, cheque, bankers draft, direct electronic funds transfer and cash (UK Sterling).  Personal cheques will need to clear before delivery takes place.  We also accept American Express.

We can usually Part Exchange on your own antique desk if required - please Contact Us to discuss this option.

Refunds and Returns - "No Quibbles !"

We naturally hope that you will be delighted with your antique desk or table and that it reaches you in the condition that it left us.  If it does not meet your requirements for whatever reason (but is undamaged) we will accept the return of the item and refund the price paid minus the cost of collecting it from you (you may arrange your own return transportation if you wish so long as the item is professionally transported and insured (our prior approval of this arrangement is required)). 

If the item is damaged in transit to you we shall arrange for repairs to be made either directly or via our transportation insurers so long as there is documented and photographic proof that the damage actually occurred during transit.

Collection in person or by Client's Courier - from Antiquedesks.net in Canterbury, Kent.

Items can be collected by the Client or by the Client's appointed courier from our premises in Canterbury.  Please make an appointment for collection.

We can arrange all aspects of shipping, delivery and insurance.  We make a fixed charge towards our UK mainland delivery costs and insurance as follows - all charges include VAT and the insurance premium.

London and South East England - [£75.00 to £110.00]    FREE in September

Rest of England - [£150.00]    FREE in September

Wales and Scotland - [£235.00]   FREE in September

[Charges quoted are for single items. Where multiple items are purchased then the delivery charge will be 50% of the single item price, for each extra piece.]  FREE in September

Overseas Delivery - to Europe, USA, Canada and further afield.

All of our antique desk stock is available for shipping anywhere in the world, using professional specialists to handle all aspects of the delivery and insurance during transit.  We regularly ship to Europe and the USA and Canada.  Please contact us for a quotation for the total delivered price of your desk - in many instances we are able to offer extremely competitive prices.
